NSU Regional Sports Complex hosts home opener
As seen in Aberdeen News by Elisa Sand and Scott Waltman (September 11, 2021), Northern State University hosted their home opener football game at Dacotah Bank Stadium, recently completed through a joint venture project between McCownGordon and Quest Construction. After years in the making, almost 6,000 fans gathered to witness the grand opening of this new stadium. Aberdeen Mayor, Travis Schaunaman, stated “it’s an absolutely thrilling day for the community and the college”. The project includes three separate building structures and will serve the university and the entire Aberdeen community.
