Employee ownership (an “ESOP” model) encourages an engaging and collaborative environment that inspires new, progressive ideas and overcomes challenges. This allows both our employees and clients to reap the benefits of a successful building experience.

What is an ESOP?

An ESOP is an employee ownership structure that works similarly to a 401k as a qualified retirement plan. Employees are given ownership over the company’s stock, and more shares are distributed to employees over time. Each employee has their own account that holds their shares in the company.

This opportunity attracts top talent, increases productivity and encourages employees to stay at McCownGordon for the long-term. Upon becoming fully vested, the employee-owner gets their name added to a custom handcrafted ESOP wall.
