As seen in the Kansas City Business Journal, by Miranda Davis (Nov 1st, 2019).
When work is finished on the new Wonderscope Children’s Museum in south Kansas City, it will be a serious upgrade for the longtime kids’ favorite, but it also will open it up to a broader population of the city.
Executive Director Roxane Hill told the Kansas City Business Journal that construction on the new space began in mid-October. She anticipates that the 30,000-square-foot project will be complete in the fall of 2020.
The project was announced in February 2017 and will replace the museum’s existing location in Shawnee. It will be built within the Red Bridge Shopping Center at Red Bridge and Holmes roads.
