This community-focused space provides students with practical learning opportunities, enhancing their employability and civic involvement. Students can earn credits in specialized fields, while the community benefits from events and after-school activities. This initiative underscores the Hickman Mills School District’s unwavering commitment to improving the community and providing students with the tools to succeed.

The project created versatile spaces for classrooms, meetings and events. A student-run coffee shop was also incorporated to develop customer service skills.

The Hickman Mills Real World Learning Center will be a cornerstone of the community. For years to come, it will enrich the lives of people of all ages, fostering learning, growth, and meaningful connections.
