Healthcare tomorrow: a look at current trends and what’s next
A Panel Discussion
On November 8, McCownGordon and the Kansas City Business Journal hosted a healthcare panel at our headquarters. We brought in some of the brightest healthcare minds in Kansas City and asked them about the healthcare of tomorrow. Paul Kempinski of Children’s Mercy, Stan Holm of Olathe Health, Sam Huenergardt of AdventHealth, Bob Page of The University of Kansas Health System, Dr. Robert Simari of University of Kansas Medical Center and Dr. Marc Hahn of the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences participated in the panel discussion.
Each panelist talked about technology innovation as it relates to patient experience and how healthcare will be accessed in the future. Some other common themes were how health systems must focus on the health of the community not just healing the sick, behavior health and bringing hospitality to hospitals.
The Kansas City Business Journal wrote a summary about the panel. Or, for the full story in the Kansas City Business Journal, check out the article, “Healthcare Tomorrow.”
