Cultural Anchor

To support its continued evolution, the Symphony selected the design-build team of McCownGordon Construction and Populous to deliver its next landmark project—the Kansas City Symphony Performing Arts Facility. Currently in preconstruction, the project will serve as a cultural anchor, expanding access to a diverse range of performances and providing a transformative space for the community.

State-of-the-Art Venue

The state-of-the-art venue will feature 4,600 seats and address a critical gap in Kansas City’s live entertainment landscape, introducing the region’s first purpose-built film-to-live orchestra experience.

Elevated Performance Experience

Designed with advanced technology, audio systems and acoustics at the forefront, the facility will deliver an immersive and acoustically refined environment that meets the Symphony’s high-performance standards. Through a collaborative, design-build approach, the team is focused on creating an iconic destination that will further position Kansas City as a premier hub for music and the arts.
